This will be a two-day Career Expo from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and separated by major. See event details for more information.

LSU's largest recruiting event, drawing hundreds of recruiters and about 2,000 students and alumni. There are opportunities for students in all fields and at all levels to network with professionals; learn about career options and graduate and professional programs; find out about open jobs; and generally explore their intended career fields.

This event will be held for two days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Day 1 will be for  Engineering, Science & Technology majors and Day 2 will be for Business & Liberal Arts majors.

NOTE: This event is only open for current students of LSU System campuses and alumni from the Baton Rouge campus.

Tips for participating in a recruitment fair at LSU

Employer registration information

This event will be held for two days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Day 1 will be for Engineering, Science & Technology majors and Day 2 will be for Business & Liberal Arts majors.

To register, log in to Careers2Geaux, select the "Spring 2017 Career Expo Week Events is currently active" link on the right side of the welcome screen, and complete the registration form.

If you do not already have a Careers2Geaux account, go to our public events calendar and click the "Participant Registration" link for the Spring 2017 Career Expo Week Events. On the following page, click the "Proceed to Registration Form" link under "new participants."

Refund policy

Refunds will not be awarded.  Once you register for an event, you are required to pay regardless if you cancel your registration.

Event sponsorship

Become an event sponsor for $1,000. You can sign-up to be an event sponsor during the registration process. **Deadline to be recognized as a sponsor in pre-expo print materials and advertisements is Friday, Jan. 20, 2017. This is a firm deadline - all logos must be in vector format and provided by this date.****

Benefits of sponsorship
  • Prime placement at the event.
  • Name and/or logo included in ads run by the LSU Olinde Career Center during the two weeks before the event, on the event web pages for both the student and employer side, in Careers2Geaux, and in e-newsletters sent out to all students.
  • Recognition at the event by the speaker delivering the welcome address.
  • Name and/or logo highlighted on event signage and on the event handout.
Fee structure

Registration fee levels are structured based on the type of organization recruiting. All registration fees include admission for up to four recruiters and one 8-foot table. Up to two additional tables can be purchased for $300 per table. Any/all additional representatives attending the Career Expo will be charged $30 per extra representative; no exceptions. Invoices will be sent after the event with additional representatives added to reflect the amount owed.

Early bird registration (until Dec. 16)  

Business = $550 ($850 for both days)
Government/nonprofit/graduate school = $300 ($450 for both days)
LSU System = $50 ($75 for both days)

Regular registration (Dec. 17 - Jan. 13)  

Business = $625 ($900 for both days)
Government/nonprofit/graduate school = $325 ($500 for both days)
LSU System = $75 ($100 for both days)

Late fee registration (Jan. 14 - Feb. 6) 

Business = $675 ($975 for both days)
Nonprofit/graduate school = $375 ($550 for both days)
LSU System = $100 ($125 for both days)

Shipping information

BEFORE the event

Display materials may be shipped to our office prior to the event. Please schedule delivery between Monday, Jan. 23 - Thursday, Feb. 2. If packages are shipped after the deadline, there is no guarantee materials will be at the reserved table when recruiters arrive.

**Please make sure that the name of your business/agency is clearly indicated on the packaging so your display materials can be placed at your booth prior to your arrival.

AFTER the event

We will pre-arrange package pick-up by FedEx Ground and UPS Ground. A special area will be designated for dropping off your materials at the end of the day. Please remember to bring account numbers, shipping slips and any other pertinent information you will need. The LSU Olinde Career Center cannot guarantee pick-up and is not responsible if materials are not shipped on time or do not arrive to the next destination by the requested date.

If you would like to ship your display materials using any other means, you need to make arrangements to have your materials picked up at the end of the event.
