NEWS: Support for our Community

The LSU Community is here for you in these uncertain times and would like to reassure that the safety and security of our students, faculty and staff is our first priority.  Please remember that we don’t have to directly know someone involved in these events to also be affected by them and if you or someone you know needs assistance please see the resources below:

LSU Mental Health: (225) 578-8774  LSU Mental Health Services will hold a free, open support group for the campus community on Monday, July 18, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in Room 296 of the Student Health Center. All members of the LSU community are invited to attend.

LSU Cares: (225) 578-9442 You can make a care report for you or someone you know and we will reach out to them. You may also schedule an appointment to meet with a student advocate to connect you with needed resources or to advocate for you if the events of the above are having an impact on your academics or ability to function.  Make a care report here or call us to meet with an advocate at your convenience.

The Phone (LSU): 924-LSU1 Call, text or instant message a counselor 24/7.
