Communicate, Assess, Refer, Educate
  • Assist students in identifying proper individuals or departments to address issues

  • Listen and assist students in identifying issues and concerns

  • Mediation meetings as an alternative dispute resolution method as between students and faculty/staff or student and student

  • Assist students in preparation for and understanding of the accountability process

  • Serve as an advisor to students charged with violating the Code of Conduct throughout the accountability process

  • Identify and mentor students who are disengaged on campus

  • Communicate with campus community to assist student in understanding issues and identifying workable solutions

  • Serve as a resource to campus community on a variety of issues

  • Address concerns with students who are unsure which office to contact regarding their issue of concern

  • Assess concerns of students in distress or crisis and refer to appropriate campus resources
