To recognize a staff member (classified or unclassified) responsible for operational support who goes above and beyond standard responsibilities to deliver quality service to staff and students.
Purple & Gold Award
To recognize a staff member who embodies the mission and vision of the division, but also exudes LSU pride.
To recognize a department that has best utilized tools, creative strategies, and innovative thinking to create and refine a process, program or service.* The end result to the division is:
- Reduced cost, time, or human resource
- Increased productivity efficiency and/or effectiveness
- Improved quality of student life
- Achievement of strategic goal(s)
Academic Partner Award
To recognize a staff or faculty member who has collaborated with one or more departments in the division to improve the overall quality of the student experience at LSU both inside and outside the classroom.
To recognize an outstanding new professional staff member who has taken great strides in becoming acclimated and integrated into the division, as well as his/her department. The individual will have shown great enthusiasm for the job and a strong drive to improve services provided by his/her department. All professional staff hired during the last two academic years are eligible for nomination.
